Foreword
Hello, relatives, everyone, and welcome to the Higher-Dimensional Wisdom series: The Way of Survival lecture videos. I am DF. I will now explain The Way of Survival to you, our relatives.
The author of The Way of Survival is a senior administrator of great importance in our Small Cosmos Family. This teaching material describes the arduous course of our Small Cosmos Family’s development, the immense sacrifices our forebears paid to create each world, and the great contributions they made. The author compiled this material, and the relevant administrative departments chose to convey it to Earth, so that relatives on Earth may know how hard-won our family’s development to this day has been, strengthen relatives’ sense of family, learn from and inherit our forebears’ noble spirit and experience of survival, find the right way of survival, and live better in the universe while embodying value.
Although The Way of Survival is easy to understand, not every relative can grasp the author’s original intent or the intent of the relevant administrative departments in conveying this material to Earth. For that reason, it is necessary to explain this material in the form of lectures and help relatives comprehend it.
Much of the truth and principle The Way of Survival teaches us is indispensable content for relatives building a higher-dimensional wisdom framework; it can help relatives form a correct outlook and thus find the right way of survival, play a greater role in the universe, and embody greater value.
Because The Human Way (Rendao) and Character & Conduct (Pinxing) have already told us many truths of life and the universe and made clear how to be human and how to raise quality and caliber; and because my explanations of those two materials were fairly detailed, I believe relatives already have a relatively systematic grasp of life’s and the universe’s truths, the principles of being human, and how to raise quality and caliber—so in these lectures on The Way of Survival I only summarize in broad strokes the gist the author expresses, distill the central ideas, and help relatives grasp the essence of the text without listing the text’s concrete contents point by point. I will focus on what the author did not expand on but that still educates us, answer readers’ questions, and interpret the text in depth so as to awaken relatives to the height and depth of this material.
To prepare these lecture notes I also asked the author and the highest leadership of our Small Cosmos Family for guidance many times and received much precious instruction. That guidance will greatly help relatives understand this material and build a higher-dimensional wisdom framework. Given the limits of my ability and level, gaps in the lectures are inevitable; I ask relatives’ understanding. Spreading higher-dimensional wisdom and achieving awakening for all people is the wish of the just cosmic administrative departments in higher-dimensional space for people on Earth, and it is also the wish of our Higher-Dimensional Wisdom volunteer team.
The edition used for this lecture series is the one released October 18, 2018; I hope relatives will download it and study alongside these talks.

In lecture one we study the first six pieces together; we begin with the first piece, “The Ascent of Love.”
The Way of Survival, Piece One: The Ascent of Love
“The Ascent of Love” is the opening piece of The Way of Survival; the full text is only a little over a thousand characters. This article is not hard to understand. I will first summarize the article’s gist, then distill its central idea, answer questions, and finally speak to a deeper understanding of the piece. I will explain this article in these four steps.

A deeper understanding of the article
One: The article’s gist
I have put six questions on the screen; the article answers all six. I ask relatives to find those answers themselves and then connect them in reflection—that is how you can grasp this article’s gist.
What is the essence of human life?
Why do we, lives of love, appear in the universe?
How can we let the love information and energy we are born with play a greater role?
How do we embody greater value in ourselves?
What does the author hope we will do?
What kind of people does the author hope we will become?
Two: Central idea
“The Ascent of Love” teaches us that life is the continual ascent of love; to keep radiating love in the universe and give others and even the whole universe greater love is our mission.
Three: Answering readers’ questions
Reader’s question
What is the relationship between the ascent of love and the way of survival?
The so-called ascent of love means ascending love—that is, letting the love information and energy we are born with play a greater role in the universe. Concretely, it means filling our hearts with love, conducting ourselves with loving mind and loving action, continually giving positive information, and raising the frequency of the universe’s energy field to help the universe develop upward.
The so-called way of survival is the track of survival—it is also the law of survival.
Once you understand the meanings of the ascent of love and the way of survival, you see that the ascent of love is, in fact, the root of the way of survival for us as lives of love. Because humanity is a just, higher-intelligence species, every human life the Creator makes is a pure life of love, born full of love information and energy. The Creator made us so that we would keep radiating love in the universe and give others and even the whole universe greater love. That is the meaning of our existence as lives of love in the universe.
For a person to keep ascending love in the universe is to embody the value of one’s own life and to walk the right path among people. In fact, what The Human Way (Rendao) Piece Two, “The Meaning of Life,” tells us—that life is one life journey given us to embody our own value—and what Character & Conduct (Pinxing) Part 16, The Practice of Love, says about keeping to the right path as “the practice of love” both speak to the truth of life from different angles and say the same thing in essence. We may also understand life as a life journey of continually ascending love. Relatives can study these three pieces together. When you have learned them thoroughly, you will grasp that the true meaning of life is to embody life’s greatest value through continually giving love.
Four: A deeper understanding of the article
The Way of Survival was compiled for all members of the family; it aims to let family members know the family’s hard history and lead family members onto the right way of survival.
In the universe, the right way of survival is not something we need to go looking for again: whether the greater just cosmic family or our Small Cosmos Family’s forebears have already pointed out and smoothed the right road for us. We need only press forward boldly along that right road. However, because our family began in very low-dimensional space in the universe and is still a young family—among the eighty small universes of the Milky Way we rank only sixty-fourth and lag behind other developed families—relatives in low-dimensional worlds, especially relatives on a positive (yang) world in the lowest-dimensional space such as Earth, are generally low in life level, do not know cosmic truth or life’s truth, and do not understand that life in the positive world is preparation and foundation for going to higher-dimensional yin worlds. Because relatives on Earth have not seized opportunities to train and raise their energy frequency, they lack the ability to rise to higher-dimensional worlds to play a role and can only cycle in low-dimensional space. That situation severely constrains our family’s upward development.
Earth is very important to our Small Cosmos Family because Earth is the planet where our family has the largest positive (yang) population and reproduction is highly efficient; the family’s other yin worlds urgently need Earth to supply talent in every respect before they can develop quickly. Today Earth has many training projects, and many relatives have strong ability; only because they have not returned to the nature of a just life and their life energy frequency does not rise have they been unable to ascend to higher-dimensional space—so they all need to ascend love.
As a senior administrator of our Small Cosmos Family, the author knows well what problems the family faces. The Way of Survival is very pointed for relatives on Earth; the reason it was chosen by the cosmic administrative departments to be conveyed to Earth is that they want family members to know the family’s situation, know what survival situation they are in, understand how to grow and progress quickly in this positive (yang) world called Earth, and then work hard to change and uplift themselves so they may become pillars of the family.
The author begins The Way of Survival with the theme “the ascent of love” precisely in light of our family’s present condition, to teach family relatives to keep ascending love; ascending love is raising life level and raising life energy frequency. We are lives of love set by the Creator—only by continually ascending love do we align with the Way.
Although the principle is very simple, because relatives do not know these truths, have long received incorrect knowledge education, and have been steeped in the wider environment, their patterns of thought and life have been severely confined—so we still need patience, starting from the most basic principles and truths, to help relatives return to self-nature. I ask relatives not to look down on any single piece in this higher-dimensional wisdom series. Every piece has its value; every one is there to save us. In fact, this knowledge is the prescription that saves people and saves the world; I believe relatives with some capacity for insight can recognize that. I hope this kind of explanation can help relatives understand the author’s original intent.
That concludes the explanation of The Way of Survival Piece One, “The Ascent of Love.” Next we study The Way of Survival Piece Two, “Human Nature,” together.
The Way of Survival, Piece Two: Human Nature
Piece Two, “Human Nature,” is also a short text of a little over a thousand characters; it is very clear. I will explain following the four steps on the screen to help relatives comprehend this article.
The article’s gist
Central idea
Answering readers’ questions
The significance of understanding human nature
One: The article’s gist
According to what the article expresses, I have sorted out seven questions on the screen. The article answers all seven; understanding these seven questions is grasping this article’s gist.
What is human nature? Where does human nature come from?
Why is the nature of evil species hard to change?
Why is it that only people who still retain kindness and love can possibly return to self-nature?
Why is it hard to change one’s situation without knowing the truth?
What are the consequences if these truths are not conveyed to Earth?
What expectations does the author have for us?
What does the author worry about?
Two: Central idea
“Human Nature” teaches us that, as a higher-intelligence species, each of us has a just and kind nature; as long as that nature is not wholly lost, we can work to change ourselves, return to the pure state at the beginning of life, and contribute to the family’s upward development.
Three: Answering readers’ questions
Reader’s question one: What is the pure state at the beginning of life?
The pure state at the beginning of life refers to the state we had when we had just become lives in the universe and had not yet been polluted in any way. Because the Creator made every human life’s core system with pure positive information and energy, each person at the beginning of life is pure. A person in the pure state at the beginning of life has positive life information and life energy in their life, and their life system runs in a positive way—that is the normal state of life. Reader’s question two: What is the significance of returning to the pure state at the beginning of life?
Returning to the pure state at the beginning of life is immensely significant for anyone. Why do I say so?
First, because if a person has not returned to the pure state at the beginning of life, that person is not yet a person of pure positive energy. Not being pure means still giving negative information or having negative conduct, still obstructing the universe’s development. In other words, as long as relatives give negative information to the universe, act in ways that harm others or the common good, or harbor selfish desire and the like, all of that runs counter to the Way and does not align with the Way. Such conduct obstructs the universe’s upward development.
Second, only by returning to the pure state at the beginning of life does one truly walk the right path among people. A person who has returned to the pure state at the beginning of life has positive life information and life energy in their life, and their life system runs in a positive way—that is the normal state of life and can unlock the many potentials the Creator set for us and show the noble character we were born with. The right path among people is like a highway; our life is like a car built for the highway—only on the highway can the car show its many fine qualities; once a highway car is driven on a dirt road or even in the wild, it cannot show the performance the Creator set, and it cannot stay in a normal running state.
Third, because each person’s return to the pure state at the beginning of life is saving oneself. Out of responsibility and conscience, the author wants to do everything possible to help relatives in low-dimensional worlds, hoping that after relatives know the truth they will change themselves, return to the pure state at the beginning of life, become people of wholehearted positive energy, and not drift through existence in the universe without any value, facing the fate of elimination by the greater universe.
Fourth, because people who return to the pure state at the beginning of life can survive long in the universe, enjoy more beautiful sights, explore more cosmic mysteries, and happily embody greater value in their own lives.
These four points can explain the significance of returning to the pure state of life.
Five: The significance of understanding human nature
In the universe there are two great families, just and evil. The Creator of the just family creates lives whose nature is just and kind. The purpose of the just Creator in creating just lives is for those lives to play a positive role and help the universe develop upward. The Creator of the evil family creates lives whose nature is evil. The purpose of the evil Creator in creating evil lives is to strengthen its own family so as to be unconstrained and live in the universe freely according to its own selfish, narrow ideas. That is a mode of survival irresponsible to the greater universe’s overall development; it severely obstructs the universe’s upward development. The natures of the two kinds of lives in the universe, just and evil, are utterly opposite.
For relatives on Earth, understanding human nature is very important. Because Earth is a world the just family created, most people on Earth are descendants of the just family; their natures are just and kind. However, due to long invasion and infiltration by the evil family, the evil family has not only imposed its own management model on Earth to bind the just family’s descendants but also conveyed many false and harmful teachings to confuse the just family’s descendants on Earth, so that just relatives become superstitious, attached, and lost, never finding truth or the right direction. Also, because the just family had not broken through the technological barrier and did not convey the just family’s orthodox education to Earth ahead of the evil family, relatives on Earth have become more and more lost and more and more fallen. Today many descendants of the just family have had their just, kind nature buried; without knowing the truth they have unknowingly become tools of evil forces and serve the evil family.
As senior administrators of the family, seeing our family’s world invaded by the evil family and our relatives deceived and bound, falling further and further—how can we stand by? However, because cosmic civil servants and military forces are yin lives, they cannot stand among us in their true forms to lead us. We also cannot see the battles in which they save us, so they can only use high-tech intelligent systems to convey higher-dimensional wisdom to Earth so we know the truth, return to the nature of a just life, and return to the just family’s embrace.
“Human Nature” tells us clearly: however much evil lives train in the universe, their nature is very hard to change—that is, very few evil lives change into just lives. Yet many just lives have fallen into negative energy and gradually become evil lives, which pains the family’s forebears and administrators deeply.
The reason the just family is collectively rescuing just relatives on Earth is that it hopes relatives will return to their nature and to the just family’s embrace, play a positive role in the universe, embody life’s value, not fall to low-frequency lives and be eliminated, and much less betray their own nature and degenerate into evil lives who become enemies of the just family. If a just life is eliminated or degenerates into an evil life, that brings the Creator and the family not only great harm but shame. I hope every relative with conscience will realize they are descendants of the just family, return to a just and kind nature, and become a force of the just family.
That concludes The Way of Survival Piece Two, “Human Nature.” Next we study Piece Three, “Embodying Value,” together.
The Way of Survival, Piece Three: Embodying Value
“Embodying Value” is a little over eleven hundred characters; it is about how to embody life’s value. To help relatives understand this article I explain it in the four steps on the screen:
One: Term explanation—the meaning of “universe”
Two: The article’s gist
Three: Central idea
Four: Educational significance
First, the term explanation: the meaning of “universe.”
One: Term explanation: the meaning of “universe”
Although earlier lectures already explained the term “universe,” they did not make clear that “universe” has several meanings. Below I briefly explain what “universe” means in Higher-Dimensional Wisdom. “Universe” has three different meanings:
First meaning
It refers to the vast space where all things exist. For example, in a phrase like “in the universe,” “universe” here means vast space.
Second meaning
It refers to the enormous integrated field of force formed by information acting with energy. For example, “cosmic law” refers to the law of that integrated field of force.
Third meaning
It refers to a relatively large world. If we call a planet where life survives one “world,” then the totality of worlds a family possesses is customarily called a small universe. In the vast universe, all just families together are called the just universe.
Because on Earth we only use relatively vague words such as “world,” “space,” and “universe” to describe the scope where life survives, higher-dimensional space can only use the words we are used to when conveying higher-dimensional wisdom—so we need to understand from context what these terms mean in each case.
Once relatives understand these three meanings of “universe,” they understand that expressions such as “the universe’s needs” refer to the needs of just worlds. In fact, the space where all things exist—that is, “the universe” in the sense of space—does not need anything from all things; what have needs are all things in the universe. Of course “all things” here includes every being that exists in the universe.
Two: The article’s gist
I summarized three points on the screen for “Embodying Value” to help relatives grasp the article’s gist:
Ways to embody value
The importance of seizing training opportunities
The author’s hope
- Ways to embody value
Direct ways
Indirect ways
- The importance of seizing training opportunities
Living a long time in the universe does not mean strong ability
Young lives can still become pillars of talent
- The author’s hope
Because these three points summarize the original text, I will not list the original wording again. I ask relatives to follow my cues, sort out this article’s thread, and grasp its gist.
Three: Central idea
“Embodying Value” teaches us to seize every training opportunity to raise ability in every respect, contribute directly to the universe in a greater way, and embody greater value. If we have not yet built that foundation and do not yet have great ability, we can still contribute to the universe indirectly by giving positive information.
Four: Educational significance
“Embodying Value” lets us know how to contribute directly to the universe and how to contribute indirectly. It also lets us know the importance of seizing every training opportunity to raise ability in every respect. If we do not understand that training exists to raise our own life ability, we will not treasure every training opportunity in life. Living that way, even if we survive a very long time in the universe and have many training opportunities, it is still hard to raise our ability. Without great ability we cannot contribute much directly to the universe and cannot embody greater value.
In fact, the Creator’s original intent in making us was for us to play a positive role in the universe and embody greater value. With that intent, the Creator also set noble character and many abilities other lower species do not have for us. If we live contrary to the Creator’s design, we cannot show noble character or use those abilities, much less attain happiness and joy.
In the greater just family of the universe, the shared standard by which a life’s value is judged is how much that life has contributed to the universe. That is the shared value of the just universe. Embodying life’s value is also the shared educational ideal of the just universe. It is very important for us Earth people to understand the just universe’s shared value. Because when relatives see that a selfish value outlook is wrong and against the Dao, and that selfish people, however capable they are, still count as low-tier lives who cannot ascend to higher-dimensional worlds to play a greater role or embody greater value, they will change themselves of their own accord.
The higher-dimensional a just world’s lives are, the more selfless and pure they are; no world in the greater just family welcomes or needs selfish lives. Only when relatives return to the nature of a just life will the ability relatives have trained serve the just and have value for just worlds.
Placing “Embodying Value” as the third piece in The Way of Survival is so that we first understand ascending love and returning to the nature of a just, higher-intelligence life; with that cognitive foundation we are then taught to treasure every training opportunity and grow ability in every respect, striving to contribute directly to the universe in a greater way. Even without great ability, we still know how to contribute indirectly to the universe by giving positive information, and not become lives that obstruct the universe’s development and have no value.
That concludes The Way of Survival Piece Three, “Embodying Value.” Next we study Piece Four, “Insight,” together.
The Way of Survival, Piece Four: Insight
“Insight” is relatively easy to understand. I use the screen diagram:
One: Understanding insight
Two: The article’s gist
Three: Answering readers’ questions
Four: The significance of reflecting on life
—four steps to explain briefly.
One: Understanding insight
The article opens by explaining that insight is one person’s grasp of things. Some relatives may still not be very clear on that explanation, so I will say a little more here: insight is, in fact, thinking deeply about things to reach “full understanding” and “full digestion.” How deep thinking can go depends on a person’s wisdom and ability; it is enough for relatives to understand it in this simple way.
Two: The article’s gist
The gist of “Insight” is that it teaches us to reflect with heart on what is around us and on our own lives, sum up experience, grow wisdom, and be more able to embody greater value in the universe. That is also this article’s central idea.
Three: Answering readers’ questions
Reader’s question
Why do we say that if we do not reflect on what is around us, we will not grow in wisdom?
That is an excellent question. “Insight” tells us that insight is one person’s grasp of things. I also explained further above that insight is thinking deeply about things to reach “full understanding” and “full digestion.” If we do not reflect on things, we cannot know their essence. When a person’s knowledge of things stays at the surface, they cannot sum up experience from what they go through and grow in wisdom. For example, if we do something only mechanically, without reflecting, it is hard to do it better over time, and our wisdom cannot grow. Insight is an ability and a good habit.
From this brief explanation I believe relatives can see the difference between reflecting and not reflecting.
Four: The significance of reflecting on life
“Insight” tells us the importance of reflecting on life. Since the Creator gave us the capacity for insight when we were created, we can work to raise that capacity and let it play a greater role. We can gather everything we glean from life into life experience and become more and more capable. If we do not reflect with heart, we cannot achieve great things.
The author placed “Insight” as the fourth piece in The Way of Survival for two reasons: one, to show the importance of reflecting on life; two, for a deep purpose. Once we know that life is the ascent of love, have returned to the nature of a just, higher-intelligence life, and understand embodying value, we next reflect on life to sum up experience, grow wisdom and ability in every respect, and thereby embody greater value in life.
Reflecting on life is an ability higher-intelligence lives have and a good life habit. Of course reflecting on life also needs a relatively complete higher-dimensional wisdom framework for support before we can draw correct conclusions and raise our wisdom and ability faster. Without a correct higher-dimensional wisdom framework for support, principles one figures out on one’s own may not be correct, cognition can skew, and personal growth and progress suffer.
We have studied the Higher-Dimensional Wisdom series, formed a correct outlook, and can then reflect on life and gain precious insight without going astray. However many detours we took in the past, however rough the road, however negative we were—once we awaken and return to the nature of a just, higher-intelligence life, we can play a positive role in the universe and embody life’s value. Reflecting on life is important for everyone.
That concludes The Way of Survival Piece Four, “Insight.” Next we study Piece Five, “The Family’s Progress,” together.
The Way of Survival, Piece Five: The Family’s Progress
“The Family’s Progress” is easy to understand, but from the title alone it is hard to see how hard the family’s founding was. To help relatives form a conceptual grasp of our family’s progress, I asked our mentor to consult our family’s highest leadership on questions about creating worlds; below I explain this article in three steps: central idea, answers to questions, and the significance of the family’s progress.
Central idea
Answers to questions
The significance of the family’s progress
One: Central idea
“The Family’s Progress” aims to tell us how hard the family’s founding was. Although it was very hard, under the forebears’ joint efforts the family has always been progressing. It lets us be grateful to the forebears, and after we know these truths, work hard to uplift ourselves, have a sense of responsibility for the family, and contribute to the family’s rapid development.
Two: Answers to questions
To strengthen relatives’ understanding of the family, through our mentor I asked many questions relatives care about.
Question one
How many of our Small Cosmos Family’s first-generation forebears who created worlds were there?
Our Small Cosmos Family’s highest leadership gave the following answer:
What we call the first generation of forebears actually consists of two parts. One part is people with the ability to create worlds—that is, the creation team. This group numbers only a few dozen; they all have high wisdom and comprehensive ability and received systematic training from the relevant departments. The other part is the volunteers who created worlds together—that is, the first residents of the new world. Under the creation team’s leadership they built the world together. With help from the cosmic relevant departments, those few dozen people who could create worlds chose a suitable positive (yang) planet; only after those few dozen had completed basic living conditions and could survive normally on that planet did the cosmic relevant administrative departments arrange for the volunteers—that is, the residents—to come to that planet and create the new world. These resident volunteers were people of different levels, ranks, and specialties; together with the few dozen on the creation team they were our Small Cosmos Family’s first batch of people—our first-generation forebears. Our Small Cosmos Family’s population of nearly a hundred billion began multiplying from that first generation. When members of the creation team transitioned to yin beings, with help from the greater universe’s relevant administrative departments they formed an administrative department and began managing the world they had created on their own.
Only when they could manage their own world on their own would the greater universe’s relevant administrative departments withdraw. Of course a small universe and the greater universe are one whole; at different stages of development the greater universe gives each small universe corresponding help, helping each small universe at different times go to new planets and create new worlds, thereby promoting the universe’s overall development. That is the brief process of small-universe development.
Question Two
What was the process of creating Earth like?
Creating the Earth world was similar in process to what our forebears went through when they created the first world. Only, in different eras, because technology in the greater universe kept advancing, species creation became more diverse, and the time needed to build basic life skills through experience was also greatly shortened.
In truth, creating any world is extremely hard. First the creation team must understand the planet’s traits, then plan according to the creators’ ability at that stage, then begin, according to the plan, to create the survival conditions each species needs—such as information, energy, oxygen, a sound food chain, and so on. This takes a very long time.
When our family came to create Earth, apart from land and water as ready resources to use, there was almost nothing else usable. Even sunlight was not suited to life; the sun itself had been created by the greater universe’s creation department, and the moon was also created so it could balance yin and yang for Earth.
After the sun and moon were finished, our family’s creation team, with help from the greater universe’s creation department, first used very advanced technology to configure plant species of different kinds and released these configured negative plants onto Earth. They were to absorb matter and energy from Earth’s energy field and turn into positive plants, and to multiply on Earth on their own. When plants formed an ecology, small animals were created, then larger animals, and finally large animals. Animals likewise came from the negative world: relevant greater-universe departments used very advanced technology to configure them, released them onto Earth to absorb matter and energy there and become positive animals, and only after many generations of reproduction and evolution did they take the animal forms we see today. What plants and animals contribute is far more than the food chain as we usually understand it. Plants give us not only food and what we need to live, but also oxygen and other nutrients we breathe, and they emit calming information and balance yin and yang in Earth’s energy field; likewise, the information animals emit at different levels and grades is indispensable to our survival. During the period when human survival conditions were being created, how many tests the creators ran on plants and animals and how many failures they went through are beyond our imagination. Building Earth’s ecology alone took more than thirty million years.
When Earth had the conditions for human survival, a group of volunteers from our family’s negative world signed up of their own will to become the first residents of Earth and take on the mission of creating a world and multiplying positive-surface life. Our family sent two batches of volunteers in all: the first numbered only in the hundreds; the second was fewer than three thousand. The reason so few were sent each time was that, at the time, the greater universe’s life-creation departments were still limited in technology and could not transform too many people at once—because humans are a high-intelligence species, unlike lower species that are easier to transform.
After these negative relatives reached Earth, like other species they gradually turned into positive-carrier life by automatically absorbing matter and energy from Earth’s environment, over two or three decades or longer. Only when reproduction was possible did they begin to have children; those children were Earth’s first batch of surface people. Of course, with this kind of high-tech transformation, negative lives that became positive lives by automatically absorbing matter and energy from the positive world were not as agile as all the positive lives we see now—they were heavy, as if wearing armor. Only after many generations did people and other animals gain more and more agile carriers.
In fact, animals in Earth’s energy field before it was polluted were much more agile than after pollution—at least not as heavy as now. The positive carriers of the first-generation volunteers and the surface people of the earliest phase had longer lifespans than modern people’s carriers—two or three hundred years or more, depending on individual constitution. The first batch of volunteers from the negative world differ from people who came to Earth by rebirth: they came as negative lives and left as negative lives, so their memory is continuous. These people are the senior ancestors of us Earth people; most now live in the negative world, serving in important posts. Their bond with Earth is the deepest, because they lived through that hardship and know how hard-won this world is and how important it is to our family.
Another truth for relatives on Earth: when the evil family saw that our family had succeeded on Earth, they also came to Earth on the sly and tried to multiply their evil species—many evil species such as venomous snakes and fierce beasts on Earth were species they tested. The ape-like human fossils that modern archaeology has found are not fossils of our ancestors but of evil human species the evil family released on Earth and failed. Today, as more and more people on Earth carry negative energy, the evil family can successfully use descendants of our just family to help them multiply—by arranging their life seeds to be reborn—while using and controlling our just family’s descendants so that just relatives become their puppets and serve the evil family.
It should be said that the quality and caliber of the first group our family sent down to Earth to create the world were the highest in Earth’s whole course of development. Our family came to create Earth to build a highly civilized world there. But as Earth developed, under constant invasion and sabotage from the evil world, Earth people’s quality and caliber did not rise—they fell further and further.
Through this piece on the family’s progress, the broad course of creating Earth is told to relatives on Earth in the hope that relatives will treasure life. Every flower, blade of grass, and tree on Earth holds the creators’ painstaking work; every life is hard-won—not to mention a high-intelligence species like us. As descendants of the just family, anyone who can live in the universe does so thanks to countless relatives’ effort and plants’ and animals’ contribution; we should be grateful in our hearts. Our forebears could love all things in the universe and taught us to do the same because they knew the role of all things in the universe—they are the conditions we depend on to survive.
III. The meaning of the family’s progress
The eighth paragraph of the article tells us the meaning of our family’s progress. Know that if one’s own family does not develop well, relatives do not have much room to grow. Only when every sector and field of one’s own family develops quickly can all relatives be given more chances to grow and show their worth.
Some reader-relatives may wonder why The Way of Survival assigns so much space to the family. It is because we live in the positive world: we have no memory of the negative world, cannot see negative-world things, and do not understand cosmic truth—hence the doubt. In fact, loving the family and sharing its fate is the right way to survive. Without the family’s arrangement, none of us would appear in the universe. Without help from our family’s negative-universe public servants, when we turn from positive life to negative life we would be at a loss. That is how each of us is inseparable from the family for survival. For development and progress: if the family does not progress, we lack better and larger training platforms, chances to raise wisdom and ability, and ways to show life’s greater worth.
The Way of Survival, Part V, “The Family’s Progress,” ends here. Next we study Part VI together: “Honors the Family Has Received.”
The Way of Survival, Part VI: Honors the family has received
“Honors the family has received” is not hard to understand. I will help relatives grasp its deeper meaning by summarizing the central idea, answering readers’ questions, and offering what it inspires in us.
Central idea
Answering readers’ questions
What it inspires in us
I. Central idea
Through telling us that our family has received many honors, “Honors the family has received” stirs our sense of duty and mission toward the family, calls on us to win honor through constant effort, and contribute our strength so our family may gain greater honor.
II. Answering readers’ questions
Reader’s question
What specific honors has our family received?
On this question I asked the author directly; below is the answer for relatives:
In the course of development our family has formed its own style and traits; honors received fall mainly in three areas:
In science and innovation. Compared with young families on the same level, our family stands out and has received many certificates of honor from higher cosmic departments and general praise from other families. For a young family to lead others in science is rare and precious.
The spirit of fearing no hardship and daring to innovate has become a marked trait of our family. In this area too we have received many honors.
Precisely because our family has this spirit and a certain level in science and innovation, higher cosmic administration approved a batch of higher-dimensional planets for our family to create new worlds.
- Our family members’ diligence index is higher than other families’. That has also won our family much honor.
That is the answer to this reader’s question.
III. What it inspires in us
From “Honors the family has received” we can see how the great just family of the universe leads each family, and how much our family values honor. Recognition and rewards (for families and individuals who have made outstanding contribution to the just universe, corresponding honors and rewards are given) guide every family and all just lives, and embody the just universe’s administrative outlook.
Leading family relatives to have a sense of duty and mission, and teaching relatives to value honor, are also fine traditions of our family. Using the family’s honor to stir members’ sense of duty and mission is both an effective form of education and a good form of guidance. On Earth, national honor likewise educates and guides each nation’s people effectively. Only, just forces internationally have not become the dominant force encouraging every country toward greater contribution to world peace and development.
To form a correct ideology on the worldwide level and a just-led pattern, relatives of the just family still need to make great effort. Spreading higher-dimensional wisdom and popularizing the just family’s orthodox education is only the beginning. Turning the Earth world into a positive-energy world will be the greatest honor for all just relatives on Earth, and also our family’s greatest honor. That is what this piece inspires in us—for relatives’ study and reference only.
The Way of Survival, Part VI, “Honors the family has received,” ends here; below is a brief summary of this lecture.
The Way of Survival, Lecture One — Summary
Lecture One of The Way of Survival explained for relatives:
Love’s ascent
Human nature
Showing worth
Insight
The family’s progress
Honors the family has received
Part I, “Love’s ascent,” taught us that constantly elevating love, radiating love, and giving greater love to others and the whole universe is our mission.
Part II, “Human nature,” taught us that justice and kindness are our nature, and urged us to return to the purity of life’s beginning and contribute to the family’s upward development.
Part III, “Showing worth,” taught us what direct and indirect contribution to the universe mean, and urged us to seize training chances and show greater worth by contributing directly to the universe.
Part IV, “Insight,” taught us to feel with heart what is around us and our own lives, sum up experience, grow in wisdom, and be better able to show greater worth in the universe.
Part V, “The family’s progress,” told us how hard the family’s founding was. Though it was very hard, thanks to forebears’ joint effort our family has kept progressing. It asks us to be grateful to forebears, and after understanding these truths to work hard on ourselves, bear family duty, and contribute to the family’s rapid development.
Part VI, “Honors the family has received,” by telling us the family has received many honors for contributing to the universe, stirs our sense of duty and mission toward the family, calls on us to win honor through constant effort, and contribute our strength so our family may gain greater honor.
Elevating love, returning to true nature, and showing worth are the foundation of the way to survive. The first three parts are the basis of being human; with that basis we must gain insight into life, sum up experience, and grow wisdom and ability; with ability we can show greater worth.
The first four pieces stand alone but are tightly linked. Relatives should read them as one thread and grasp why the author arranged these themes. Parts V and VI speak of the family but do not depart from the theme of The Way of Survival. In fact, the family’s rise or fall and honor or shame bear directly on every member’s survival and development. The author gave so much space in The Way of Survival to the family for this reason.
Lecture One of The Way of Survival ends here. Thank you, relatives, for watching—we will see you in the next lecture.
Higher-Dimensional Wisdom series: The Way of Survival — Lecture Two
Hello, relatives:
Last lecture we studied the first six parts of The Way of Survival; we now begin Lecture Two. In this lecture we study together:
The direction events take
Our family
The family’s spiritual pillars
How to cultivate correct outlooks
Follow-on strength
Our thoughts
First we study Part VII, “The direction events take.”
The Way of Survival, Part VII: The direction events take
“The direction events take” is only a little over eight hundred characters; on the surface it looks easy—some relatives even find it too simple. It is not so. As a senior administrator of our small-universe family, the author wrote this short piece with deep intent.
To help relatives understand it deeply, I first sort out the article’s points, then summarize the central idea, then stress what it inspires in us and a deeper reading.
(Lecture structure)

What it inspires in us
Deep reading of the article
I. Article points
I summarize four points for “The direction events take”:
Our family, in development, kept events moving in the right direction
The family has accumulated much experience
Why experience and raising ability to administer worlds matter to administrators
How to become a more valuable person
Relatives, please study with these in mind.
II. Central idea
“The direction events take” teaches and guides world administrators and relatives moving in this direction to train themselves well through all kinds of hardship, sum up experience, learn lessons, so as to have enough wisdom and ability to resolve contradictions or crises and keep events moving in a positive direction—thus serving the universe and showing greater worth.
III. What it inspires in us
“The direction events take” is a piece aimed at world administrators and relatives who aim that way. It is meant to cultivate world administrators’ ability to steer the direction of events. It also teaches relatives who aim that way how to become such people.
For those who administer worlds, problems arising within one’s duty are not frightening; what is frightening is lacking the ability to make events move in a positive direction. Whatever happens, one must have the wisdom and ability to steer events in a positive direction. The higher the position, the greater the responsibility, and the more one needs high wisdom, strong ability, and rich experience to control the direction events take.
Of course, this piece also offers something to ordinary people. Though we may not have large training platforms, we can still train on small ones—family, workplace, and the like—consciously steering events in a positive direction and building the wisdom and ability to resolve contradictions and crises at home or work, step by step raising ability in this area so we can better serve society and show greater worth.
IV. Deep understanding of the article: As a senior administrator of our family, the author placed a dedicated piece in the The Way of Survival textbook to enlighten and guide world administrators—with deep intent. Take Earth: civil servants of every country on Earth are in fact cosmic civil servants, because they are the direct administrators of Earth as a world. Once these relatives awaken through studying higher-dimensional wisdom, they will see clearly how serious the problems of Earth’s human world are, and feel firsthand how much effort the evil family has put into Earth. In a difficult, tangled situation, how to lead Earth in a positive direction and always hold the correct direction of events is a huge test for every administrator.
Earth is a huge negative-energy field and already a very chaotic world. To change this chaos, all Earth relatives must be led past wrong outlooks and ideology and fixed habits of thought layer by layer; one must also counter interference and sabotage from evil forces. That is a huge challenge for Earth’s administrators.
Precisely because Earth is a negative-energy world, with training conditions and challenges that higher-dimensional worlds do not have, our family attaches great importance to it. Many civil servants in higher space who need to build a record and train, and talent in other fields, apply to descend to Earth to meet the challenge, hoping to build achievement and a greater life glory through this cosmic great upshift and great rectification. Our family very much hopes to raise a large crop of pillars on Earth. Earth has such conditions, relatives in the lower world have such need, and the family has such hope—hence this arrangement.
Our small-universe family’s hope at this stage is that all talent in the family awaken as soon as possible, know their true standing, and see clearly their duty and mission, so the family can develop quickly. “Spread higher-dimensional wisdom; achieve awakening for all” is the goal our family’s highest leadership sets for the Earth world. Reaching it requires negative administrators of the family and positive administrators on Earth to lead just relatives in striving together.
The Way of Survival, Part VII, “The direction events take,” ends here; next I explain Part VIII, “Our family.”
The Way of Survival, Part VIII: Our family
“Our family” is a little over two thousand characters—one of the longer pieces in The Way of Survival. I explain it in five steps as shown on screen.
The idea of “family” in the universe
Article points
Central idea
Answering readers’ questions
Educational significance
First, the idea of “family” in the universe.
I. The idea of “family” in the universe
“Family” are two words very familiar to us on Earth; seeing them, many relatives fall back on habitual thinking. In order for relatives to understand the idea and notion of “family” in the universe, I asked the author directly. A brief explanation follows:
In the vast universe there are two great families: one is the great just family; one is the great evil family. The great just family consists of all just worlds; the great evil family consists of all evil worlds. Departments of the just universe habitually call a small universe a family. Each small universe is a branch of the greater universe and part of the great just family.
In the universe, the small universe is the smallest unit that counts as a family. None of the worlds a small universe holds can be called a family. The higher a high-intelligence life’s level in the universe, the stronger the sense of the great family. In the whole great just family, there is in a sense no “yours” or “mine.” Advanced families helping backward ones, higher lives helping lower ones, is the idea of the great just family of the universe. Help between families and help from cosmic administration to each family are selfless and aim at the universe’s positive development. The same holds within each small universe. Each small universe’s departments help each world selflessly. Selfish closure and protection are patterns of evil worlds; the great just family of the universe has no such administrative pattern.
In higher-dimensional worlds, especially the negative world, high-intelligence lives do not have Earth’s kind of surname outlook. In our small-universe family, for example, though every relative has a name, because each person was born on a different planet, some planets may not have Earth-style surnames at all. Even on Earth, some family members have been reborn many times—for example, one life called Zhang San, the next Li Si. Those who can live long in higher-dimensional worlds have usually been reborn many times across different positive worlds and had many names. Ordinary people, when they become negative lives, usually keep the name of the positive life they had before turning negative, which also helps the relevant departments administer. Of course, cosmic administrators who descend on special mission differ: they have lived in the negative world many years and already have fixed names; when the mission ends and they return to the negative world, they still use the name they had before descending. The relevant cosmic departments keep detailed records of what each person was called in each life.
It should be said that Earth’s notion of family built on surnames or blood ties is tied to not knowing cosmic truth and life truth. In higher-dimensional negative worlds, relatives know that everyone’s life core system was created by higher beings. Who is who in the records of the relevant departments is really the life core system—or one could say the original life seed. Because a carrier’s appearance changes across rebirths, relatives in higher-dimensional worlds who know the truth do not cling to blood ties and surnames as Earth people do. In their awareness, everyone in the just family is a relative; the higher the world, the stronger this awareness.
II. Article points
In question form I summarize five points for this article as on screen:
What traits does our family have?
What stage is the family in now?
What is the great cosmic rectification?
What is the relation between small universe and greater universe?
What is the author’s purpose in introducing the family?
Relatives, please read the original and grasp the points yourself.
III. Central idea
“Our family” introduces the family’s basic situation, explains the relation between our small universe and the greater universe, and points out the right direction of development. The hope is that all relatives, knowing these truths, may gain chance to rise and develop.
IV. Answering readers’ questions
Reader’s question 1
Is the great cosmic rectification the same as the great cosmic upshift? What is their relation?
This is a large question and one many relatives puzzle over. I asked the author for instruction; below is the answer I organized:
The great cosmic upshift is a regular cosmic phenomenon: every two to three hundred million years the universe’s highest energy source releases high-frequency energy, which reaches all the cosmic space it can cover. Of course, this highest source can only be called the highest we know; whether it is the highest in the whole greater universe is unknown.
As high-frequency energy spreads outward from the highest source, farther from the source the frequency drops—but it is still many times higher than each space’s energy field originally had. How many times depends on how high or low that field’s frequency was. This high-frequency positive energy released from the highest source is precious; it is precious resource for every just world to develop quickly. Also, the higher the frequency of positive energy, the more it restrains evil worlds—a pattern produced because all just survivors in the universe constantly emit positive information. As more and more just lives are created in the universe, more and more positive information is emitted. So many levels and grades of positive information acting on the greater universe’s energy field cause the universe’s highest energy source to gather large amounts of high-frequency positive energy. When it gathers to a certain point, the highest source releases high-frequency positive energy. That energy benefits just worlds and all just lives at different levels and grades, and also strikes evil worlds hard and checks their development.
Because lives have appeared that obstruct the universe’s development, the highest relevant departments, for the universe to run normally, use the opportunity of the great upshift—in military, science, education, and other ways—to rectify worlds and lives that obstruct cosmic development. Only so can the universe develop normally and survivors at every level live better in the universe.
At the present stage, high-frequency positive energy from the universe’s highest source has already reached the space where we live. Therefore relevant cosmic departments convey the series of higher-dimensional wisdom to Earth, hoping descendants of just humanity on Earth awaken quickly, use the great upshift to raise their energy frequency fast, form just force, strike and clear evil forces, and give Earth’s world a large lift. Then just relatives can escape evil forces’ control, find true happiness and joy, and play a positive role in the universe.
Because we are positive lives, we cannot see how just negative lives strike evil negative lives, and it is hard to understand how high-frequency energy restrains evil forces. So we only see the series Higher-Dimensional Wisdom conveyed to Earth by just cosmic administration. Conveying that series to Earth is one way to strike evil forces and rectify Earth’s world.
The Way of Survival, Part XIV, “Recalling the past,” touches how the great upshift affects the family. What effect, exactly, will be explained to relatives in the next lecture.
Reader’s question 2
How should we who live in the positive world cooperate with this great cosmic rectification?
In brief:
First, return to the nature of just life, change and elevate ourselves, become positive-energy people, and stop being puppets of evil forces.
Second, when injustice happens nearby, act bravely for what is right, uphold justice, and spread just spirit.
Third, when we see evil and cannot stop it ourselves, report at once to the relevant government authorities so evil people can be brought to law and departments can clear evil forces.
Fourth, spread Higher-Dimensional Wisdom so more relatives awaken, become positive-energy people, and play a positive role in the universe.
These four kinds of action are our cooperation with the great cosmic rectification.
V. Educational significance
“Our family” lets us know the truth about the family: we are not only of Earth. Behind us stands a huge family for support; our family has always been every relative’s strong backing. Behind our small-universe family stands the greater great just family of the universe as an even stronger backing.
These truths matter greatly to us on Earth: they widen our view and show us we have large room to live and develop, a clear direction of development, and we need not live blindly.
The author tells us that this stage is the one in which family members have had the greatest chance to rise in their lives so far, because each great rectification gives capable lives large room to develop. But relatives must work hard to change and elevate themselves, widen their scope, and be able to transcend the present life level to develop toward higher fields. Such guidance gives us the right direction. Today we have high-end higher-dimensional education and the timing of the great upshift; as long as we change ourselves, we can rise greatly. Capable relatives have a chance to become pillars of the family or even the greater universe; relatives with weaker ability can still raise energy frequency, use their time in Earth’s positive world well to train ability, and lay a good foundation for ascending to higher-dimensional space.
The Way of Survival, Part VIII, “Our family,” ends here; next we study Part IX together, “The family’s spiritual pillars.”
The Way of Survival, Part IX: The family’s spiritual pillars
“The family’s spiritual pillars” is a little over thirteen hundred characters; on the surface it is not hard. Because relatives do not know how life is in the negative world, the wording may raise questions—I will explain in answering readers’ questions.
I explain this piece in four steps as on screen.
Essence of the article

Answering readers’ questions
What encourages us
I. Essence of the article
Relatives, grasp the essence of “The family’s spiritual pillars” through the three questions on screen.
What role does each family’s spiritual pillar play in the universe?
What is our family’s first spiritual pillar, and what role has it played?
What is our family’s second spiritual pillar, and what does the author hope for the second?
II. Central idea
“The family’s spiritual pillars” introduces the first pillar’s great deeds and spirit to family relatives, educates younger generations to strive and become the family’s pillars. Younger generations are a huge contingent, the family’s follow-on strength, and the family’s second spiritual pillar.
III. Answering readers’ questions
Reader’s question 1
The fifth paragraph of “The family’s spiritual pillars” says forebears feared no hardship and kept going to planets in different dimensional levels to build homelands—why build homelands on planets of different dimensional levels?
Forebears went to planets of different dimensional levels to build homelands so descendants could survive in the universe in a better, more valuable way, and so the family could develop faster and contribute more to the greater universe.
In the universe, different worlds have different energy fields. People of different life levels suit different fields. Fields also change as the universe develops. Change in a field can threaten life. When a world’s field no longer suits survival, one must move to another field that is secure. That is one reason forebears kept building homelands on planets of different dimensional levels.
Another reason is: to contribute more to the universe and show greater worth, one’s own family must develop faster and create worlds on higher fields or fields that better help the universe rise.
More on this appears in the Celestial Phenomena (Tianxiang) lectures; here only this brief note.
Reader’s question 2
“The family’s spiritual pillars” tells us the forebears who first came to create worlds are still building new homelands for us—we admire and thank them—but we wonder: do cosmic administrators have no retirement system?
Such a question comes from Earth’s habitual thinking. In fact negative carriers and positive carriers are completely different: positive carriers age and decline with years; negative carriers do not, because negative lives can survive a very long time in the universe. How long depends on a life’s level and grade and its energy frequency. As negative lives keep raising energy frequency, carrier quality gets better and more agile, appearance more dignified—not like positive carriers, which age so quickly. So in the negative world, the higher the energy frequency, the stronger the vitality and the slower aging.
For cosmic administrators, however high they rise, there is work that suits them, because the higher the level, the more they know that to show life’s greater worth they must contribute through work to the family and the just universe. So cosmic administrators have no retirement system unless they cannot handle the current work or for other reasons choose work that suits them better. For example, the forebears who first founded our small-universe family at first had both to create worlds and to administer them; once they had trained more capable juniors, they entrusted world administration to the juniors and focused on work that matched their strengths, constantly contributing to the universe to show their own worth.
The more truth we understand, the clearer it becomes that humanity’s true home is the negative world. Our family conveys this series of higher-dimensional wisdom in the hope that we raise energy frequency quickly on Earth, improve quality and caliber, train in every area, then ascend to higher-dimensional negative worlds, serve long in a positive direction, and show life’s greater worth.
IV. What encourages us
“The family’s spiritual pillars” encourages us greatly.
On one hand we know that the forebears who first founded our family are still building new homelands for us—they have always been our family’s first spiritual pillar. That truly comforts us and greatly encourages us. Those forebears’ ability, experience, and wisdom are beyond our imagination. With these forebears, all family relatives have support and security, because they have the wisdom and ability to lead us through one difficulty after another.
On the other hand, the family treats us younger generations as spiritual pillars too, giving us different platforms to grow and hoping more juniors can become pillars.
Our family has such forebears to lead us and gives each of us so much room to grow—that greatly encourages everyone. Each person’s room to grow is unlimited; truly, the vast universe leaves much to be done!
The Way of Survival, Part IX, “The family’s spiritual pillars,” ends here; next we study Part X together, “How to cultivate correct outlooks.”
The Way of Survival, Part X: How to cultivate correct outlooks
“How to cultivate correct outlooks” is only a little over eight hundred characters. I briefly explain it in four steps as on screen.

How outlooks shape people and worlds
I. Essence of the article
This short piece of “How to cultivate correct outlooks” is not hard; if you can answer the three questions on screen, you have its essence.
What is an outlook? What is a correct outlook?
Why cultivate correct outlooks?
How to cultivate correct outlooks?
II. Answering readers’ questions
Reader’s question
How should we establish a correct outlook on life, values, and the world?
This is a large question and one Earth relatives need to solve. The relevant cosmic departments convey the series Higher-Dimensional Wisdom to Earth in order to help us change mistaken outlooks on life, values, and the world before, and to propose new outlooks on life, values, the world, and the cosmos—thus returning to self-nature and finding the right direction and path in life.
The third paragraph of “How to cultivate correct outlooks” tells us: when we still do not know cosmic law, we must never act on subjective guesswork, or we may do wrong without knowing it. These things look small and ordinary, yet they show how high or low a person’s wisdom is. Without basic cosmic knowledge, one easily walks the wrong path in life. In fact this guides us to study basic cosmic knowledge, raise wisdom, and strengthen judgment of right and wrong.
Because the author knows well that low-dimensional worlds, especially positive Earth, do not know cosmic or life truth and know little of cosmic law, this piece was written to lead us to study higher-dimensional wisdom: when we do not yet know cosmic law, in anything we do we should at least stand in others’ place and think of the positive development of the whole world. That avoids mistaken outlooks, because such conduct is positive and accords with cosmic law.
Wrong outlooks on life, values, and the world come from not knowing basic truth of life and the cosmos. To establish correct outlooks, one must study high-end higher-dimensional wisdom and build a correct system of higher-dimensional wisdom.
Relatives are advised to read “How to cultivate correct outlooks” together with The Human Way (Rendao), Part XX, “Human ideology”; I believe relatives can get a fairly full answer. Of course, to know more truth, study the whole Higher-Dimensional Wisdom series seriously.
III. Central idea
“How to cultivate correct outlooks” aims to lead us to start from cultivating correct outlooks so that every outlook is positive, accords with cosmic law, and benefits this world’s upward development—thus playing a greater role in the universe and showing greater worth.
IV. How outlooks shape people and worlds
In the universe, each person’s outlook matters greatly to oneself: outlook gives rise to awareness, awareness shapes thought, thought guides conduct. Correct outlooks form correct ideology; wrong outlooks form wrong ideology; what ideology one is in shapes what one can know. Human outlook steers human conduct and also shapes the world.
For example, Earth people’s wrong outlook on life and death has produced a chain of wrong conduct. From antiquity into modern times, emperors built huge tombs, wasting the people’s strength and wealth and wrongly leading every class from scholar-officials to the rich to follow suit. Today awakened relatives can see that when a surface person’s carrier is worn out, it becomes inert matter; how it is disposed of does not affect the negative life. But the wrong outlook on life and death has kept large “yin homes” going in many places—a big obstacle to civilization’s progress.
Much twisted teaching the evil family conveyed to Earth has been accepted by Earth relatives and become mistaken outlooks—for example, the wrong idea that humans evolved from apes, which has entered textbooks in many countries and bound generation after generation. When such a wrong outlook becomes the world’s common outlook, people no longer believe there are people beyond people or skies beyond our sky. The hold of that wrong outlook on people and its effect on the world’s development are immeasurable. Mainstream outlook shapes where the world goes. The evil family knows this well; it conveyed many wrong ideas and bodies of knowledge to Earth before the just family, setting huge obstacles to popularizing orthodox education for the just universe.
Relatives must be clear: the main front of the war between just and evil is the field of ideology—also the field of culture and education. Though the evil family conveyed much twisted teaching before the just family, once the higher-dimensional wisdom the just family conveys spreads widely, the evil family’s twisted teaching will vanish like smoke, because the just family conveys truth; the evil family’s teaching cannot stand.
I hope this brief explanation gives relatives food for thought, makes you value your own outlooks, cultivate correct outlooks through Higher-Dimensional Wisdom, break free of mistaken outlooks soon, raise life’s level quickly, and become truly high-intelligence lives.
The Way of Survival, Part X, “How to cultivate correct outlooks,” ends here; next we study Part XI together, “Follow-on strength.”

“Follow-on strength” is relatively easy to understand. I will explain this piece in three steps as shown on the screen, to help relatives grasp it deeply.

Difficult sentence 1
Because departments of the great universe have given our family such an opportunity, we must rely on our own effort to keep building worlds of higher civilization for our family, so that our family can show greater worth in the universe and every member of the family can have a chance to show greater worth.
How to understand: “Because departments of the great universe have given our family such an opportunity, we must rely on our own effort to keep building worlds of higher civilization for our family, so that our family can show greater worth in the universe and every member of the family can have a chance to show greater worth.”
This appears in the fifth paragraph. Some relatives reading it are unsure what “departments of the great universe have given our family such an opportunity” means. Here is a brief explanation.
It continues the last sentence of the previous paragraph: “We must inherit our ancestors’ great spirit of fearing no hardship and daring to create, and open new ground for more descendants.” In other words, departments of the great universe have given our family the opportunity to open new ground. In the sixth lecture of The Human Way, when I explained Part Twenty-Five The Long View, I said that cosmic administrative departments, seeing our family’s trend of steady upward development, have in recent years approved a batch of new planets for our family to meet our rapid development needs. Those new planets are far higher in dimensional level than the planets we now have. The fifth paragraph refers to this; the author does not elaborate.
Difficult sentence 2
In fact, everyone in the universe goes through a certain process of training; even relatives who have only just begun to train, because they carry inborn information, can still rely on that guidance to do work they love, play a role in the universe, and show worth.
How to understand: “In fact, everyone in the universe goes through a certain process of training; even relatives who have only just begun to train, because they carry inborn information, can still rely on that guidance to do work they love, play a role in the universe, and show worth.”
This is the last paragraph of the eighth section. In fact, to promote the universe’s upward development, the Creator set each person’s developmental emphasis and injected corresponding information. Even relatives in their first human lifetime have such original life information in the life core system. The earlier mention of “following the heart’s guidance” refers to the same thing: the Creator’s emphasis for each life, and the original life information in the life core system. When we live in a positive way according to the Creator’s settings and program, the information in the life core system activates; the heart guides us toward work we care about. That more easily draws out our inborn potential so we play a positive role in the universe and show greater worth.
I hope this brief explanation helps relatives understand the passage.
III. Central idea
Through the family’s history and the achievements and role of elder ancestors, “Follow-on strength” guides younger generations to carry on the ancestors’ spirit of fearing no hardship and daring to open new ground, so as to gain more chances for development in the universe and, led by the ancestors, keep to this right path of development.
That concludes Part XI of The Way of Survival, “Follow-on strength.” Next we study Part XII, “What we hold in memory.”
The Way of Survival, Part XII — What we hold in memory
“What we hold in memory” is very deep in meaning. I will help relatives grasp it through five steps as diagrammed on the screen.

If we cannot accumulate enough energy for ourselves, become more able to live in the universe, and keep pace with the energy field’s rising frequency, we will vanish from the universe.
This comes from the fourth paragraph; it states a truth of life. In the universe, whatever dimensional world relatives live in, they face the same test. Each world’s energy field differs and changes with the great universe’s overall field.
When someone cannot keep pace with the great universe’s rising field frequency, they cannot adapt to their field and vanish from the universe. Here “vanish from the universe” means the life core system has stopped: the Creator’s settings for it and the information stored across lifetimes no longer function; it is in a blank state. This describes one way we may leave this world.
A second way the article describes leaving the world: harm by evil forces—in effect, being destroyed by them. When the life core system is damaged beyond repair, reincarnation as a life is no longer possible.
In this article, “leaving the world” means the life core system can no longer reincarnate as a life—death in the true sense.
Because our language is limited, “death,” “leaving the world,” “leaving us,” or “leaving the universe” cannot strictly express what “vanishing from the universe” means, so I clarify here so relatives understand the author’s intent.
The author shows us two ways of leaving this world so we see how important it is to accumulate high-frequency positive energy and strong ability; on a deeper level, it is so we understand the way of survival.
Difficult sentence 2
Whatever way and time we ultimately leave this world, we must create value for this world—that is what we should do.
The Higher-Dimensional Wisdom series says that those who keep pace with the universe’s rising energy can live long in the universe. Some relatives may wonder: if we can live long in the universe, how can there be talk of “ultimately leaving this world”?
To clear that doubt, relatives need this explained. We already know the life core system is a high-tech, high-intelligence product of the Creator. As a product, however advanced, it has a lifespan. In the universe, however high a life’s level or an advanced being, none can live as long as the universe itself; all will leave this world in some way.
I hope this removes relatives’ doubts.
II. Article essentials
“What we hold in memory” is profound. I summarize several layers of meaning for relatives’ study.
Remembrance and gratitude
Stating the truth: two ways of leaving this world
Education
Point 1: what kind of person is worth remembering?
Point 2: what kind of person is not worth remembering?
Right attitude toward life and a transcendent outlook
Keep raising one’s energy frequency and ability, and find the right way to survive.
The first four points are direct; the fifth is implied. Please use these prompts to grasp the article’s essentials.
III. Answering readers’ questions
Reader’s question
The fifth paragraph of “What we hold in memory” says: for a long time evil forces have existed in the universe; to seize territory from the just family they keep invading our home and harming relatives of the just family. Why does the righteous great universe not wipe out these evil forces?
This is a serious topic. I asked the author specifically; below is the answer I compiled:
Evil forces can exist long in the universe for two main reasons:
First, in lower-dimensional worlds, where evil forces are needed, senior cosmic administration allows them to exist and develop within certain bounds. That policy trains and cultivates just lives in lower dimensions. In low dimensions, evil’s presence actually helps just lives mature. Relatives must not misunderstand: this is not senior administration indulging evil. The great universe is led by just force; senior administration upholds justice and does not let evil wipe out just power without limit. Evil can never wipe out just power; only just power can wipe out evil—depending on senior administration’s decisions. That is not something lives at our level need worry over, so relatives need not fear evil forces; they are like organized crime on Earth—always unlawful, never able to stand in the light.
Second, just power in lower dimensions is not yet able to wipe out evil completely. Higher-dimensional just power does not clear evil for us directly so that we can be trained through struggle against evil to build stronger ability to serve the universe. Only so can just lives in low dimensions grow quickly and the great universe gain more outstanding people.
IV. Central idea
Through remembering elder relatives who have left us, “What we hold in memory” teaches gratitude. Through the two ways of leaving this world, it teaches us to keep raising our life energy frequency and abilities. Through who is worth remembering and who is despised, it teaches what kind of person to be, guides us toward facing everything calmly and the right attitude toward life, and a transcendent outlook.
V. Educational significance
One day we too may become what younger generations hold in memory—but whenever and however we leave this world, we should face it calmly. In this world we will have done meaningful work and our share. As small lives we will have shown the worth we could; we may become others’ memory. As high-intelligence lives we should hold that outlook, accept the fact, and face everything calmly. That is a right attitude toward life and shows a transcendent outlook.
This teaching matters greatly for us Earth people. We see what life attitude is right and what outlook is transcendent. I believe that right attitude will be adopted by more and more who awaken, and that transcendent outlook will be sought by more and more.
That concludes Part XII of The Way of Survival, “What we hold in memory.” Below is a brief summary of this lecture.
The Way of Survival, Lecture Two — Summary
In this lecture we studied The Way of Survival:
Part VII Where things are headed
Part VIII Our family
Part IX The family’s spiritual pillars
Part X Forming right outlook
Part XI Follow-on strength
Part XII What we hold in memory
Below is a compact summary of these six pieces’ themes.
Part VII “Where things are headed” teaches and guides world leaders and relatives moving in that direction to steer events in a positive direction.
Part VIII “Our family” presents the family’s basics, the relation between our small universe and the great universe, and the right direction for us.
Part IX “The family’s spiritual pillars” presents the family’s two spiritual pillars, to teach young generations to strive and become the family’s pillars.
Part X “Forming right outlook” teaches us to form right outlook.
Part XI “Follow-on strength” guides younger generations to carry on ancestors’ spirit of fearing no hardship and opening new ground and, led by ancestors, keep to the right path.
Part XII “What we hold in memory,” through remembering elders who left us, teaches the right attitude toward life and a transcendent outlook.
Aside from Part X “Forming right outlook,” the other five are about the family—showing how important the family is to relatives’ survival. I hope relatives take that to heart.
That concludes Lecture Two of The Way of Survival. Thank you for watching; see you in the next lecture.

I. Answering readers’ questions
Reader’s question
What is the relation between a person’s quality and human nature?
Human nature is a person’s essential attribute: inborn, given by the Creator when creating life. Quality can be read as caliber or as the standard of character; it is formed after birth. Nature is inner; quality is outer. Whether a person’s nature is just or evil can be judged from their quality.
Just creators give just, kind nature. Evil creators give evil, treacherous nature. The energy and information used are opposite; settings differ utterly. Evil lives cannot have noble quality and are hard to turn just. Just lives may accumulate negative information and show base quality, but once they return to nature and live in accord with the Way, quality improves. If just, kind nature is fully buried, nature becomes evil. Once a just life degenerates into evil, it cannot show noble quality.
In short: nature shapes quality; quality reflects nature. The purer the just life, the nobler the quality; the less pure, the lower the quality. Relatives may reflect and observe this way.
II. Article essentials
This piece is short and fairly easy. Relatives can use three prompts below to study it and grasp its essentials.
What qualities do high-intelligence lives of the just family have?
The truth of evil worlds:
What base qualities do evil species have?
What pattern of life do evil lives have?
What management pattern do evil worlds have?
What is the author’s purpose in telling us these truths?
I suggest relatives combine this with Part Three of Character & Conduct, “Conduct,” for a systematic contrast of just and evil family patterns; and with Part Seven of Character & Conduct, “Our qualities,” and Part Two of The Way of Survival, “Human Nature,” for our species’ inborn noble disposition.
III. Central idea
“Our qualities” states the noble qualities of just high-intelligence lives, the base qualities of evil lives, and the patterns of evil worlds, so we take pride in the noble quality we show and in belonging to the just family—then take greater responsibility and show greater worth.
IV. Deeper reading
Part Two of The Way of Survival is “Human Nature”; Part XIII is “Our qualities.” Why does the author treat both, and in this order? It deserves thought.
The opening line says: “High-intelligence lives of the great universe’s just family all have good quality.” Good quality is what just high-intelligence lives share; it also marks us off from evil in essence. As just high-intelligence lives we should have noble quality matching just nature—that is what qualified just high-intelligence life means.
Earth was created by our just family but has fallen into a negative-energy world. Most relatives have lost just nature to varying degrees; overall life level is very low, and awareness of showing good quality as high-intelligence lives is gone. The author, as a cosmic administrator, wrote so we know we differ in essence from evil lives and leads us to raise life quality—life level—to leave this low-dimensional world and serve and show greater worth in higher-dimensional worlds.
Many relatives of faith on Earth hope for heaven or higher worlds. Wishing is not enough; action is needed. Returning to just nature, contributing to the universe, showing fine quality as just high-intelligence lives, and training strong ability to show life’s worth is the right path. Plainly: to go to higher worlds we must at least meet their standard, fit in, survive there—without basics, how can the wish come true?
Language limits how fully positive-world words can render higher-dimensional negative-world teaching. We need to put ourselves in the author’s place and feel the intent. Every piece of The Way of Survival looks simple, yet many relatives miss its depth and its great value.
That concludes Part XIII of The Way of Survival, “Our qualities.” Next we study Part XIV, “Looking back.”
The Way of Survival, Part XIV — Looking back
Because “Looking back” speaks of past events and the cosmic great upshift—things we have little concept of—we need added background to see what the author means and why.

What it suggests for us
I. Difficult sentences
Difficult sentence 1
At different stages of development our family endured many trials, and those trials were no lighter than each cosmic great upshift.
The words are easy; many relatives neither know what trials our family faced nor what the cosmic great upshift is. A short explanation is needed.
Our small-universe family has developed for over a billion years. Over that long course the family faced many disasters—each was a trial. In low-dimensional worlds relatives face invasion and challenge from evil worlds and natural disasters from the local field colliding with the great universe’s field. Relatives in our family’s higher-dimensional worlds likewise face challenges from changing cosmic fields. Our family has disasters in high or low dimensions, positive or negative worlds—we are still in the universe’s lower dimensions. Against the great universe, our whole family counts as low-dimensional; the higher the family world, the fewer and smaller natural disasters; the lower, the more and greater.
The author says those disasters were no lighter than each cosmic great upshift because each natural disaster cost many relatives, including pillars of the family. The great upshift removes many lives, but those removed are low-frequency lives without value.
What the cosmic great upshift is I will explain more fully later.
Difficult sentence 2
Because each cosmic great upshift removes low-frequency lives that cannot keep pace with the great universe’s rising field, for a family that has not developed well it is a trial.
This is from the second paragraph. Many relatives want to know how the great upshift removes low-frequency lives. I share what I learned from asking:
In Lecture Two, Part VIII “Our Family,” I already explained what the cosmic great upshift is; I will not repeat that—only how it removes low-frequency lives.
Low- and high-frequency are relative—it depends on the reference. First meaning: comparing life to life. Lives in existence range from zero dimensions to tens of thousands; a hundred-dimensional life is high-frequency compared to ten-dimensional, low-frequency compared to a thousand-dimensional. Second meaning: a life’s energy frequency relative to its field. A ten-dimensional life in a six-dimensional field is relatively high-frequency; below six in a six-dimensional field is low-frequency. What the great upshift removes is low-frequency relative to the local field.
Last lecture I said high-frequency positive energy from the universe’s highest source spreads outward and covers space; frequency gradually lowers but remains many times higher than the field it reaches. For lives in a field that is a double-edged sword: for positive, high-frequency lives it is like rain after long drought; for low-frequency, weak-survival lives it is like snow on frost.
Below: removal of low-frequency positive lives and low-frequency negative lives.
Positive lives: on Earth, when high-frequency energy from the highest source arrives, its frequency is many times higher than Earth’s field, so low-frequency positive lives cannot bear the surge and may end in many ways. Worst: when the positive vessel fails, energy frequency is too low to activate the negative vessel system—the life vanishes forever from the universe. Lives removed this way lose not only form; stored information and the Creator’s settings in the life core system no longer function; the core has no further use.
Negative lives: in higher-dimensional negative worlds, relatives with lower frequency are urged by cosmic administration to move to lower-dimensional worlds to avoid removal—like evacuating before typhoon or flood. If they refuse, when high-frequency energy arrives they cannot bear it and die; the life core system stops; settings and stored information no longer function; there is no further use.
For relatives in the lowest-frequency negative worlds such as Earth, there is nowhere lower to go. Though family leadership knows when high-frequency energy will arrive, relatives can only raise frequency quickly to survive. If they cannot keep pace with Earth’s field, they are removed. Mass removal is a huge trial for a young family. No loss equals loss of people—from creation through reincarnation and growth each person is hard-won. Many of our worlds need talent; to lose them this way is a pity.
Other species, like humans, are removed if they cannot keep pace with their field’s rise. That is the great upshift’s major test for our family and every relative.
II. Article main points
From the article I posed six questions as on the screen; all are answered in the text. Use them to grasp the main points.
What trials did the cosmic great upshift bring the family?
Why is being removed a disgrace for high-intelligence life?
What did elder ancestors contribute to the family?
What should descendants do to become the family’s backbone?
What hope is there for relatives still confused?
What is the purpose of looking back?
III. Answering readers’ questions
Reader question 1
When did the cosmic great upshift begin? How long will it last?
On this I had our mentor put the question to our family’s highest leadership. The brief answer:
The question is not very precise. The universe is vast; different dimensional spaces begin at different times. In Earth years, release from the universe’s highest energy source began hundreds of thousands of years ago. In higher space, energy from that source spreads faster—passes through sooner; in lower space, more slowly—like a reservoir release: faster upstream, slower downstream near the mouth. Our family’s highest-dimensional worlds began about a hundred years ago; Earth began in 2012. That is when high-frequency positive energy from the universe’s highest source reached Earth.
Senior cosmic administration takes each great upshift seriously. Each family has long prepared; every negative world received clear notice. Positive worlds, limited by positive vessels, cannot be notified directly; almost none know the upshift clearly. Before Higher-Dimensional Wisdom reached Earth, Earth was the same.
Our family began preparing thousands of years ago for this upshift—hence many 2012 legends. Those who received such information could not interpret it correctly; our family’s science was not as advanced as today, and evil forces interfered. Evil families spread much talk of 2012 as world catastrophe for their own ends. In fact, whether just or evil family, what reached Earth about 2012 pointed to high-frequency positive energy from the universe’s highest source arriving at Earth in 2012.
That arrival is a double-edged sword for our just family. On Earth: if relatives awaken, they can use it to raise frequency fast; if not, many who cannot keep pace will leave us forever—be removed. Pros and cons go beyond this.
How long this upshift will last in our living space: cosmic administration has not told us, to avoid disorder on Earth.
Reader question 2
How high is the frequency of the positive energy reaching Earth? What effect does it have on us?
Because it comes in waves from the highest source, the frequency at Earth fluctuates—roughly between 10 and 25 dimensions.
To see the effect, we need Earth’s field frequency and relatives’ life-energy frequency.
Fields: different regions differ because of the information lives emit. Better customs, higher caliber, more love mean higher field frequency; the opposite means lower. Earth’s field now ranges about negative 1 to positive 12 dimensions. Negative-1 regions gather lives with bad customs, low caliber, no love. Positive-12 regions are sparsely populated, with good customs, high caliber, little negative influence. Overall most of Earth’s surface is only about 2 to 3 dimensions.
Life energy: most people are about negative 3 to negative 1; a minority 1 to 6; very few 10 to tens of dimensions. Those few high-frequency positive people selflessly give, take responsibility, are just, and contribute greatly. Earth lacks high-frequency positive energy; those few are specially protected by the just family; their high-frequency positive energy is specially supplied by cosmic departments. That is Earth people’s real level.
What of 10 to 25 dimensions? It depends whether a life runs in positive or negative mode. Just family lives have life core systems set to run positive; evil family lives’ core systems are set negative. Positive high-frequency energy from the highest source helps just lives’ cores return to positive operation—helps awakening and growth—and does not help evil lives improve, because just cores only develop wisdom and ability in positive mode.
Earth’s negative field and past lack of right teaching left most just relatives with much negative information; cores stayed in negative mode with negative mindset—they did not know.
If relatives still do not awaken and change wrong thought and conduct to become positive-energy people, when the positive vessel fails they cannot start the negative vessel system—true death. For lives already running positive, the surge of positive high-frequency energy speeds frequency gain, like a climber in oxygen debt suddenly receiving oxygen.
Reader question 3
How should we use the upshift to rise quickly? At what dimension can the negative vessel system start? At what level can we ascend to higher worlds?
Cosmic administration brought Higher-Dimensional Wisdom to Earth through this upshift to save relatives here and help them save Earth together. Briefly: return to just nature, emit positive information, keep a positive mindset, strengthen duty and mission, and raise frequency by helping others and selfless giving.
On Earth the greatest obstacle to raising frequency is not knowing life and cosmic truth; next is selfishness—whose root is also not knowing truth. Someone who learns Higher-Dimensional Wisdom, grasps basic truths, and can give selflessly can rise quickly. Truth alone without overcoming selfishness will not raise frequency.
The more selfless and contributive, the higher the frequency. In the universe the human life form is like an energy store; heart capacity sets the store’s size. Greater selfless love means larger capacity and more, higher-frequency positive energy—that is the Creator’s setting for just human life. However polluted we were, once we know truth and change wrong thought and conduct and give selflessly, energy from the highest source can purify us and raise frequency fast.
If everyone followed Higher-Dimensional Wisdom, life energy could reach 10 to 25 dimensions or higher. Relatives on Earth with special missions who keep helping others and contributing receive special protection and energy supply.
For now, after a positive person’s vessel fails on Earth, at least 6 dimensions are needed to start the negative vessel system—not an administrative quota but the outcome of cosmic law. As the great universe’s field rises, that threshold will rise too. The higher the frequency, the stronger and safer the life.
At what level one ascends to higher worlds I leave to Celestial Phenomena, Part XIV “Fluidity”—the question is large and important.
Central idea
“Looking back” uses memory of the past to teach us as descendants that elders’ huge sacrifices made our survival and development possible; it calls us to inherit their noble spirit, give selflessly to the family’s development, and contribute more to the just universe.
V. What it suggests for us
“Looking back” shows how hard-won the family’s development is. Each of us lives in the universe now because countless elders paid with their lives and paved the way. Knowing the cosmic great upshift also shows cosmic administration has not abandoned relatives in low-frequency worlds—it keeps trying to save us—and that Higher-Dimensional Wisdom is knowledge that saves people; spreading it is saving people; awakening all is saving Earth. That is what looking back suggests.
That concludes Part XIV of The Way of Survival, “Looking back.” Next we study Part XV, “The source of love.”
The Way of Survival, Part Fifteen · The Source of Love
“The Source of Love” is one of the more knowledge-dense articles in the textbook The Way of Survival. This knowledge matters greatly for understanding life’s truth. I will begin by summarizing the article’s main points.
(Lecture structure)
Main points of the article
Explanation of difficult sentences
Central idea
Educational significance
I. Main points of the article
From what the article lays out, I pose the following eight questions as a guide for relatives to grasp the essentials, and I note which paragraphs they come from so relatives can look them up.
Who is the source of love? (paragraphs two through five)
What is the point of knowing who the source of love is?
This question is central and matches the author’s reason for writing the piece. I leave it for relatives to think through; I hope you can work out the answer from this article.
What was the Creator’s purpose in creating us? (see paragraph five)
Why must we be accountable to the source? (see paragraph five)
How should we view hardship and suffering? (see paragraph six)
Why is it that only by returning to true self can we obtain real happiness and joy? (see paragraph seven)
What harms does selfishness bring? (see paragraph seven)
Why convey this knowledge in plain, easy language? (see paragraph eight)
II. Explanation of difficult sentences
Anyone fully controlled by negative energy cannot obtain real happiness and joy, because that negative energy will always block their original life energy and keep that original life energy from functioning.
This is the last sentence of paragraph seven. To understand it fully, we need to know where original life energy comes from and what role it plays.
We humans—and all other higher-intelligence lives in our life space—have core systems created by advanced beings outside our life space. The frequency of the original life energy used to create the core system of life is many times higher than that of the space where we live. How many times higher depends on the Creator’s design for each level and kind of species. For example, the Creator’s setting for our family’s human variety is between 300 and 2000 dimensions. A life core system set that high requires energy in the range of 3000 to 10,000 dimensions. Only a life core system matched to energy that high can perform its proper role. Energy that high does not exist at all in the life space where we dwell; only advanced beings outside life space can gather it from spaces that high. Original life energy at such a high frequency, injected into the original life core system, serves to drive the normal operation of the life core system and the carrier system.
As for how a person’s original life energy is injected into the life core system, we might picture it as the core system being fitted with a very advanced miniature battery. That battery holds enough charge for the core system to run for many hundreds of millions of years. So even when a person’s carrier is worn out, if the life core system is not damaged, that life core system can still be used for further rebirth.
III. Central idea: “The Source of Love” helps us understand that the just universe and the existence of love at higher levels are our source and our root. It asks us not to betray our life’s nature, to be accountable to our source and to our own life, to give love in the cosmos, and to contribute to the universe’s upward development.
IV. Educational significance: Through telling us who our source is, “The Source of Love” helps us know where our root lies. It asks us not to forget our nature, to be accountable to our source, and to be accountable to our own life.
Part Two of The Way of Survival already spoke of human nature; this part again speaks of the source of love. Relatives who read this textbook with care can all feel the author’s care for us. The author repeats these things so often in the hope that we will not turn away from justice and love’s nature, that we will know how to live in harmony with cosmic law, that we may all live happily and joyfully and embody life’s value. Such teaching means a great deal for relatives on Earth. Because most relatives on Earth do not know their own source, they have fallen into lives of negative energy—they suffer greatly and do not embody the value of higher-intelligence life.
That concludes Part Fifteen of The Way of Survival, “The Source of Love.” Next we study Part Sixteen together: “Where Feelings Rest.”
The Way of Survival, Part Sixteen · Where Feelings Rest
The article “Where Feelings Rest” states its ideas very clearly. Because its viewpoint overturns the worldly notions and fixed habits of thought that relatives on Earth have formed, relatives need time to absorb what it says. To help with that, I will explain in the order shown on the screen.
In the section on difficult sentences, I spell out a bit more of what the author did not expand on; in answering readers’ questions I clear up readers’ doubts; in educational significance I try to give relatives inspiration with real height and depth.

Difficult sentences
We can fulfill responsibility toward these people and things, and we may love them, care for them, and help them—but we must not cling to them in any way. None of them ever truly belongs to us; they are only part of the affinity we meet on life’s journey.
These are the last two sentences of paragraph four. Some relatives do not grasp them fully and feel unsure, mainly because they do not understand what “clinging” means or the truth about affinity. Once clinging and affinity are clear, these two sentences are not hard to understand.
First, affinity: anything we experience in people and things is affinity. We can say that anyone and anything we have intersected with counts as affinity. Without affinity there would be no intersection. The longer a person lives in the universe, the more affinities they have.
Next, clinging. To cling is to be unable to let go of people and things one has gone through—to be unable to release them from the mind. Clinging means a wrong state of mind in which one keeps people and things on the heart, cares too much, worries, and cannot let go. Anyone who clings is living in a wrong way of surviving.
Truly wise people know life’s truth and cosmic truth; they know that clinging to anyone or anything is meaningless. Everything outside us is only objective encounter in our life; none of it belongs to us. The only right way to live is to embody life’s value happily and joyfully. We often say “release all affinities”—that means releasing attachment to every person and thing. When the mind has attachment, it cannot be still; it cannot return to true self, and there will be no wisdom. In truth, whatever we cling to, one day we must leave it; we cannot keep it even if we try. Nothing in the universe belongs to us—not even our own life, which is a high-intelligence product created by advanced beings. If anything must be said to be ours, only the present moment’s feeling of happiness and joy or of pain and sorrow truly belongs to us.
The root of clinging is not knowing truth. Not knowing truth produces clinging. Whatever a person clings to shows limited wisdom and a low level of life. So to stop clinging, one must learn more of life’s truth and cosmic truth.
These two sentences in the article tell us the truth about affinity. They make very clear how we should treat these affinities rightly.
That is the explanation of these two sentences.
II. Essence of the article
“Where Feelings Rest” clarifies the three questions shown on the screen. Grasp these three and you grasp the article’s essence.
What kind of feeling counts as positive feeling?
How do we master our feelings?
On what should we anchor our feelings so as to embody our value?
III. Answering readers’ questions
The last paragraph of “Where Feelings Rest” says: “We should anchor our feelings in responsibility and bearing duty, and in selfless giving.” I anchored all my feelings in my child and gave everything for them—is that not responsibility and bearing duty? Is it not selfless giving?
This is a very representative question. Anchoring feelings in a child is not the same as anchoring them in responsibility and bearing duty.
Why? If one knows life’s truth and cosmic truth, one sees one’s child as a higher-intelligence life and as family talent, and one takes on the duty to train them into a pillar of the family—to embody one’s own value that way. Anchoring feelings in the child, or treating the child as one’s possession, binding them with narrow views, arranging everything for them, shielding them from hardship, having them inherit property or a career, and so on—that is not true love and not selfless giving. Selfless giving must begin with selflessness, and many parents do not truly respect their child’s will; they always want the child to fulfill their own wishes. That goes against the family’s original intent in sending someone to Earth: to train stronger ability and contribute more to the universe. Such parents may think they are very responsible and selfless; in fact it is the opposite. True love respects the child’s will, gives them more room to grow freely, and lets them experience and bear things on their own—only then can strong ability be trained and life’s greater value shown.
I hope this answer helps relatives who are parents.
IV. Central idea: “Where Feelings Rest” tells us that only feelings built on love, without private gain, are positive feelings. It teaches us to govern our feelings and anchor them in responsibility, bearing duty, and selfless giving—not to cling to any person or thing—so we play a positive role in the cosmos.
V. Educational significance
“Where Feelings Rest” helps us understand that we should anchor our feelings in responsibility, bearing duty, and selfless giving—not in any person or thing. That is correct emotional anchoring; only then do we show our true value and raise our level of life.
This article greatly helps relatives on Earth broaden life’s scope. Releasing clinging, removing a clinging mind, returning to life’s nature, returning to a still state—that is a great challenge for relatives on Earth. We were born into the universe to play a positive role. The more people and other species one can benefit, the more one embodies one’s value. We must not cling to affinity and lock ourselves in a tiny circle. If we do not yet see this, our scope and wisdom are limited. When scope and wisdom are limited, we bind ourselves to people and things we have known and cannot get free—that is what relatives in that state need to break through.
To remove clinging to people and things, we must break through the prison of wrong views and wrong awareness. To do that, we must learn more life truth and cosmic truth, build sound views of life, value, and the cosmos, and form a correct mindset. In the end, spreading and teaching higher-dimensional wisdom is the overarching precondition. Every volume and every chapter of the Higher-Dimensional Wisdom series tells us truth from a different angle. The aim is to help us change and rise and return to a right path in life. When relatives see how low their level of life is and how dangerous their situation is, they can understand why the universe’s administrative departments conveyed this series of higher-dimensional wisdom to us, and recognize the great role of this knowledge.

I explain “Our Wishes” in four steps: difficult sentences, essence of the article, central idea, and deeper reading.
Difficult sentences
Relatives may also go to other just worlds or fields to give themselves—that is contributing to the just universe too.
This is a sentence from paragraph five. What does it really mean?
The author compiled the textbook The Way of Survival to teach every member of our Small Cosmos Family. Our Small Cosmos Family has different negative worlds and different positive worlds; above our small universe are many organs of the just universe; outside our family are many other just families. Relatives may choose to give themselves there—they must not choose evil worlds and become obstacles to cosmic development or a shame to the family. That is what the author means.
II. Essence of the article
I sorted out three questions, as shown on the screen, as prompts for grasping the article’s essence.
What is our family’s wish at this stage?
What measures has the family taken for the wish of rapid family development, and what problems have come up?
What are we taught?
For questions one and three, the article is very clear. I will only briefly explain question two.
For the wish of rapid family development, the family has taken the measure of spreading higher-dimensional wisdom across worlds. When conveying higher-dimensional wisdom to positive worlds, we met great difficulty: some positive worlds have not yet received this knowledge. Relatives who read this article following my hints will more easily grasp its essence.
III. Central idea
“Our Wishes” tells us that at this stage our family’s wish is for all our family’s talent to awaken as soon as possible, know their true identity, and be clear about responsibility and mission—so the family can develop rapidly. We hope that through the joint effort of all family members, this wish can be fulfilled in the shortest possible time.
IV. Deeper reading of the article
“Our Wishes” states very clearly that at this stage our family’s wish is for all our family’s talent to awaken as soon as possible, know their true identity, and be clear about responsibility and mission—so the family can develop rapidly.
“At this stage” means it is not a permanent wish. Though we call it a wish, it is in fact the focus of our family’s work right now. We must be clear: the present is the time of the great cosmic ascension, and also the time when the just universe uses that ascension to carry out a great cosmic rectification. During this period, higher-dimensional wisdom is being spread through the whole cosmos; we can say every just family and every world in every family is rising—because every family knows how important this period is. Miss this phase and one must wait another two to three hundred million years—that would be a great regret.
It is very hard for our family to convey the series of higher-dimensional wisdom to the low-frequency, negative-energy positive world of Earth. “Spread higher-dimensional wisdom; achieve awakening across all people”—that is our family’s greatest wish for relatives on Earth. The great ascension and great rectification will pass; in the next phase the family’s work focus will shift to creating and developing higher-dimensional worlds. The moment is urgent—time waits for no one. Though the universe’s administrative departments have brought the knowledge that saves us to Earth, most relatives still do not know what is happening in the greater cosmos, or that those departments and our family are working to save Earth. This precious knowledge has not yet drawn attention and weight from all sides—that deeply worries yet leaves helpless the family’s highest administration. Worry alone does not help; only relatives who have awakened first can take on the mission of spreading higher-dimensional wisdom and strive with all they have toward the goal of awakening across all people.
That concludes Part Seventeen of The Way of Survival, “Our Wishes.” Next we study Part Eighteen together: “Writing New Glory.”
The Way of Survival, Part Eighteen · Writing New Glory
“Writing New Glory” is the closing piece of The Way of Survival—a summing statement for the whole book. I first summarize the article’s essence, then answer readers’ questions, then summarize the central idea, and last explain what it offers us. I explain this piece in four steps as shown on the screen.
Essence of the article
Summing statement on life’s truth
The value of lives at different levels
The Creator’s purpose in creating lives at different levels
Humanity’s duties and obligations
Serving the just universe
Leading other species to send positive information and helping the universe develop upward
To keep continuing the glory is the way of survival

Serving the just universe
Leading other species to send positive information and helping the universe develop upward

“Writing New Glory” is the closing piece of The Way of Survival—a summing statement of the book’s core views. I call it a summing statement because these views and truths were already laid out earlier; as a summary, this piece only states them in outline rather than developing them at length. I sum up the article’s thread in three points, as shown on the screen.
Summing statement on life’s truth
The value of lives at different levels
The Creator’s purpose in creating lives at different levels
Humanity’s duties and obligations
Serving the just universe
Leading other species to send positive information and helping the universe develop upward
To keep continuing the glory is the way of survival
The first two points aim to fix in our minds why life appears in the universe and to help us know life’s truth.
The third point is the conclusion. As higher-intelligence lives, we are to continue writing greater glory on our life’s journey—that is our way of survival. To keep continuing the glory is to keep embodying greater value. When we understand this and live it, we have found the way of survival and walk the human path of justice. Relatives who read the article this way grasp its essence.
II. Answering readers’ questions
Reader’s question
As guides, how should we lead other species to send positive information?
Leading other species is mentioned in several places in the Higher-Dimensional Wisdom series; it is true the series does not spell out how to lead other species. Here I give a short answer.
Leading other species’ lives takes two forms: direct and indirect.
First, direct leading. For other species lives we touch directly—livestock, poultry, and the like—we should give them care so they feel happiness and security. When they feel happy and safe, they are joyful and send positive information. If we do not care for other animals but beat or abuse them at will, those animals live in pain and fear and send a great deal of negative information, making Earth’s energy field more and more negative. Lives such as livestock and poultry live passively; they have no autonomy. As guides, we should lead them to send positive information so they play a positive role in the cosmos.
The same holds person to person. People of higher standing and stronger ability should give care, love, and help to people of lower standing and weaker ability so they feel happiness and security—that is positive leading, and only then will they send positive information. That is the survival pattern of just worlds. If people of higher standing and stronger ability bully, enslave, or exploit those below, that betrays the conscience of righteous life. That pattern belongs to evil worlds; it fills the environment with negative information and makes conditions worse and worse.
Next, indirect leading. When each of us lives in harmony with the Way and every thought and act is positive, we give indirect positive leading to all other species.
Because human positive information affects every other species’ life. In the universe, only higher-intelligence lives know how to raise themselves actively. Lower lives lack that awareness. Precisely because their ability and wisdom are limited, they need our leading—that is our duty and obligation as the higher-intelligence species. Whether we higher-intelligence lives fulfill the guide’s duty and obligation ties to whether every other life can live in harmony with the Way, directly affects the universe’s energy field, and affects the just universe’s development.
III. Central idea
“Writing New Glory” helps us understand life’s truth, be clear about our duties and obligations, and teaches us that we must know the way of survival and keep writing new glory on that right path.
IV. What it offers us
“Writing New Glory” is the closing piece of the textbook The Way of Survival. After studying this piece and looking back at what the whole book teaches, one feels how the greatest Way is simple. In truth the way of survival is not hard to find, and living it is not hard. Every righteous life comes into the world to embody life’s value and to serve the cosmos. As the higher-intelligence species, each of us is born with the duty and obligation to lead other species upward. Though life is a long journey, every stage of life should embody the greatest value we can. To keep continuing the glory is a meaningful life—keeping on embodying life’s greatest value. When we know this truth, we have found the way of survival and found true happiness and joy.
When all relatives obtain happiness and joy and keep writing new glory in life, that is the author’s wish for every family relative.
That concludes Part Eighteen of The Way of Survival, “Writing New Glory.” Below is a brief summary of this lecture.
The Way of Survival, Third Lecture · Summary
In the third lecture we studied six articles together, Parts Thirteen through Eighteen of The Way of Survival:
Part Thirteen · Our Qualities
Part Fourteen · Recalling the Past
Part Fifteen · The Source of Love
Part Sixteen · Where Feelings Rest
Part Seventeen · Our Wishes
Part Eighteen · Writing New Glory
Part Thirteen, “Our Qualities,” helped us understand the essential difference between righteous lives and evil lives.
Part Fourteen, “Recalling the Past,” teaches us as the younger generation that ancestors’ great sacrifice won the survival and development we have now; it asks us to inherit and carry forward ancestors’ noble spirit, give ourselves selflessly to the family’s development, and contribute greater strength to the just universe.
Part Fifteen, “The Source of Love,” helped us understand that the just universe and the existence of love at higher levels are our source and our root—we must not betray our source.
Part Sixteen, “Where Feelings Rest,” teaches us to anchor our feelings in responsibility, bearing duty, and selfless giving—not to cling to any person or thing—and to play a positive role in the cosmos.
Part Seventeen, “Our Wishes,” tells us that at this stage our family’s wish is for all our talent to awaken as soon as possible, know their true identity, and be clear about responsibility and mission—so the family can develop rapidly.
Part Eighteen, “Writing New Glory,” teaches us that we must know the way of survival and keep writing new glory on that right path.
These six articles guide us in six respects to live in harmony with the Way and to see what the way of survival truly is.
That concludes the third lecture of The Way of Survival.
Closing words · The Way of Survival lecture series
Dear relatives, the eighteen articles of The Way of Survival have now been explained in three lectures. The Way of Survival is a textbook the author wrote, as a senior administrator of the family, for every family member. The universe’s relevant administrative departments chose to convey it to Earth so relatives on Earth could learn our family’s history and how, in this time of great cosmic ascension and great cosmic rectification, the family is working to save us; what problems we have and what situation we are in; how to understand the correct way of survival; and how to be led onto a right path in life.
The Way of Survival, together with The Human Way, Character & Conduct, and Signs in the Sky, is the work of our family’s most influential administrators—but because it comes from negative worlds, expressed in spoken Chinese through high-tech intelligent translation and the mentor’s interpretation, it cannot reflect the original’s style and character. And every volume conveyed to Earth has been adapted to relatives’ ability to understand—so it is a quite simplified version.
The purpose of conveying this knowledge is to help us change and rise as soon as possible, and in the shortest possible time raise us to a certain height and give us certain ability, so we can play a greater part and show greater value in higher-dimensional worlds beyond Earth. We should not stay in a world as low-dimensional as Earth, or be eliminated in this great cosmic ascension.
The whole Higher-Dimensional Wisdom series conveyed to Earth exists to meet this great cosmic ascension—it is a rescue effort for relatives on Earth, one of the just universe’s measures of rescue and rectification for Earth in the great cosmic rectification.
To save relatives on Earth and change this negative-energy world, our family has sent large numbers of talented people from every administrative level and from different higher-dimensional worlds to Earth on mission, hoping that after they awaken they will put Earth in order. Conveying this series of high-end higher-dimensional wisdom to Earth must first awaken that cohort of talent. Only when those high-end people from higher-dimensional worlds awaken and take on the mission of spreading higher-dimensional wisdom can the goal of awakening across all people be reached in the shortest time—and then Earth can be changed into a positive-energy world.
We held this lecture series so more relatives could study this knowledge in a systematic way, learn more truth and awaken, change and rise, and spread this knowledge willingly and without thought of reward—not so people would “research” the knowledge. No matter how deeply one researches, if one does not change or return to the human path of justice, it means nothing.
My ability is limited; gaps in the lectures are unavoidable—I ask relatives’ understanding and forgiveness. This lecture series received guidance from the family’s highest leadership and the mentor, and help from comrades on the team—I am deeply grateful.
This lecture series ends here. Thank you, relatives, for watching. Goodbye.
